At the core, Bull Oak Pty Ltd is a service business and as such our primary income is derived by selling our skill. We charge for all the time we work on a project or request.
We sometimes package time into a session, project or outcome. A consulting session for example is comprised of time researching, preparing, presenting and documenting. We also may package time with products and offer this solution as a monthly subscription. For example, our IT/MSP remote monitoring and management combines time with backup, security and monitoring services. Complex website projects combine different skilled people billing their time.
We start tracking time from the moment your request has been triaged or your project has been started. We will do will keep you informed about your use of our time and adhere to our quotes and estimates. However, we ask clients to remain self-aware and share the responsibility of tracking time used on a request.
We bill time at different rates depending on the complexity and skill required for a task. Clerical tasks are charged at a lower rate than training, which is a lower rate than strategic advice. The position of the staff producing the work does not affect the rate. Our complete rate sheet can be downloaded at the bottom of this page.
