At the core, Bull Oak Pty Ltd is a service business and as such our primary income is sourced by selling our time. We charge for all the time we work on your project or request.
We sometimes package time into a session or task. A strategy planning session for example is comprised of time facilitating, preparation and documentation. We also may package time with a product and offer this monthly on subscription. For example, our IT/MSP remote monitoring and management combines time with backup, security and montoring services. We may also package time into an non-hourly rate to build website pages and would be calculated using the specific number of hours work.
It is important for clients to understand we do not sell products and time is vital for our business to function. We start tracking time from the moment your request has been submitted or your project has been approved. We ask all our clients to be aware of their requests and share the responsiblity of monitoring time being billed.
Time is billed at different rates depending on the complexity of the task and skill, experience or expertise required. Clerical tasks therefore are charged at a lower rate than training, which attracts a lower rate than strategic advice. The title of the staff producing the work does not effect the rate. Our rate sheet is downloadable at the bottom of this page.
Although our estimations or final invoices are calculated using time, your invoice total represents the amount required to fulfill the request or project. All claims against an invoice must be made within seven days and before payment is received. Payment is accepted as your approval of the work.
