We offer our WordPress platform with and without “management”. Our unmanaged WordPress plans are fully automated. Unmanaged plans include none of our time beyond ensuring the reliability of the system en masse. We offer unmanaged WordPress options with the assumption that clients have suitably experienced and/or qualified staff to manage their website and hosting. Clients should consider these factors before attempting to manage their own hosting with limited knowledge and/or experience.
When developing our managed hosting plans we aimed to build an ultimate service. We see no purpose for our agency to resell discounted hosting like our competition. Complex servers that most clients do not understand how to buy or operate is not our goal. We wanted to build a service that centered around an all-inclusive hosting service that didn’t burden owners with complications and concerns.
We believe our fully managed hosting accurately reflects the real work and costs associated with responsible WordPress ownership. Managed plans start with our proprietary hosting platform and advanced automation. We bundled licence fees with a manual inspection of your site. Then we increased security, reporting and monitoring. While we still offer automated unmanaged plans, we believe that anything less than our managed plans puts a website, business, data and performance at risk.
Most of the suppliers we studied had included the automatic installation of updates for WordPress, but they didn’t include the plugins. Many don’t offer hosting in Australia. Those that included plugin updates didn’t include monitoring or security. They had completely avoided the real complexities of upgrading the theme. None included a real local designer visually inspecting the site for issues that resulted from the upgrades. No one was discussing the licence fees associated with themes and plugins. These are all major factors that contribute to an unreliable website and surprises for the owners.
Only our fully managed hosting include the difference that a human set of eyes makes and this time is the main contribution to the higher costs. Our team dedicate time every month on upkeep of your hosting. This is the primary difference between our automated plans.
While pursuing a complete solution, we may have blurred the boundaries between hosting and the website maintenance. To clarify our position, we maintain our primary accountability rests solely with the supply of storage space for websites and we have then included a set of additional tasks strictly limited to the lists below. None of the dedicated time is available for requests from clients. Client requests are best handled by a separate website maintenance or support plan.
