All website require a Favicon. Favicon is an hybrid of two words “favourite” and “icons”. Simply put, its an icon. A small, simplified graphic that symbolising your brand.
Icons are typically derived from the logo design. They may be a graphical component already part of the logos design. Icons are a simplified symbol of your brand. They may use a colour, shape, font, letter or graphic to create a single graphic. Icons should be perfectly square, and your designer is required to creatively solve this problem. Because Icons will be very small. Icons do not have words. Icons do not have shading. Icons may be viewed from a distance and/or they may be very small. Therefore, icons should use high contrast and use very few colours.
For versatility, we suggest having your graphic designer prepare an icon for your brand at the same time they design your logo.
Favicons are simple icons saved in a specific way using 16x16px and 32x32px (prefix .ico).
